Fall River Police issue update on two city bank robberies with common thread
The Fall River Police Department has issued an update on two city bank robberies.
According to Captain Barden Castro, on Friday, officers assigned to the Fall River Police Uniform Division responded to two bank robberies. The first robbery was reported at St. Anne’s Credit Union, 1675 President Avenue, at 9:21 a.m. and the second robbery took place at Bank 5, 1301 Pleasant Street, at 11:50 a.m.
Detectives assigned to the Major Crimes Division have been following up on investigatory leads through the weekend.
The Fall River Police are looking to locate a Ford F150 pickup truck which is believed to be connected to both robberies. The truck is black in color bearing Massachusetts passenger registration 2KFF44.
