Fall River Police investigation leads to arrest of two city residents on drug charges
Two Fall River residents were arrested this week on drug charges.
According to police, on Wednesday, Detective Christopher Teves along with other Detectives from the Fall River Police Community Action Suppression Team executed a search warrant at 1102 Dwelly Street, 1st Floor. Damien Brooks and Amanda Alves were the focus of the investigation.
As a result of the search warrant, approximately 30.62 grams of cocaine was seized from the residence. Also seized from the residence was a small amount of fentanyl, Psilocybin mushrooms and $1,258 in cash.
Alves was found to be in possession of Clonazepam 0.5 pills.
Brooks was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine 18 grams or more, less than 36 grams, Possession Class A Drug (subsequent offense), and Possession Class C Drug (subsequent offense).
Amanda Alves was summonsed for the charge of Possession Class C Drug.
