Fall River Police investigating two serious pedestrian hit and runs
The FRPD is seeking help in identifying the vehicles involved in two serious motor vehicle versus pedestrian hit and runs.
On August 30th, 2019 at approximately 8:00 in the 400 block of South Main Street, a 55-year-old male was crossing the street when he was struck by the van pictured, possibly a green Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country. The van fled the area headed north on South Main.
On August 26th, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM, a 24-year-old Fall River man was crossing Brayton Avenue near McDonald’s when he was struck. Witnesses reported seeing a black sedan strike the male, stop and then flee the scene.
Both males suffered serious head trauma and were left in the roadway.
