Fall River Police investigating two related shootings that resulted in one person shot
The Fall River Police Department is investigating two shootings that have been determined to be related.
According to scanner transmissions, a call came into Fall River Police at approximately 8:05 p.m. Monday for multiple shots fired on the corner of Wade and Fourth Streets.
Multiple shell casings were found in the area of 308 Fourth Street along with damage done from shots that were fired including a bullet through a window of a nearby home.
A man was shot in the foot in the incident and was transported to the hospital.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, the incidents remains under investigation.
A follow up investigation has revealed that the shooting on October 17 that occurred at Fifth and Branch Streets is related to Monday’s shooting.
