Fall River Police investigating report of armed robbery at city pharmacy

The Fall River Police Department responded to a report of a robbery on Friday evening.

A call came into dispatch at approximately 8:15 p.m. for an armed robbery at Walgreens at 1512 South Main Street.

According to scanner transmissions, the suspect had a gun and requested money.

A medic was also called to the scene for a distraught person.

The incident is currently being investigated.
