Fall River Police investigating multiple shootings where over 25 rounds were shot including through a home
Fall River Police are investigating multiple shootings on Sunday.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, at 9:05 p.m., patrol units responded to the area of 30 Lafayette Street regarding a report of gunfire.
During the subsequent investigation, 6 spent shell casings and 1 live round were located. A parked vehicle in front of 30 Lafayette Street sustained damage from gunfire.
No injuries reported.
6 minutes later, patrol units responded to the area of 188 Tremont Street, for a report of another shooting.
Investigating officers located four spent shell casings, over 20 live rounds, and a 32 round clip on the ground. Fired rounds entered the second-floor window of a nearby home.
No injuries reported.
Huard stated that the Major Crimes Division is investigating both incidents.
