Fall River Police investigating Friday morning armed robbery
Fall River Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Friday morning.
According to Detective John Robinson, at 2:20 a.m., patrol units responded to Speedway, located at 15 Eastern Avenue, regarding an armed robbery. The clerk stated two black males wearing masks covering their faces and wearing gloves entered the store. One of the males, while armed with a handgun, demanded money as the second male went behind the counter. The clerk handed over the money. Multiple packs of cigars and cigarettes were also taken.
The suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Police are reviewing video surveillance.
