Fall River Police investigating early morning shooting where several shots were fired
Fall River Police are investigating an early morning shooting that took place in the city.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to the area of Division Street and Diman St, in response to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located several spent shell casings in the intersection.
Witnesses reported hearing a vehicle leave the scene at a high rate of speed moments after the shots were fired. At this time no injuries have been reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
