Fall River Police investigating downtown shooting
Police are investigating a shooting this afternoon in downtown Fall River.
Fall River Police have confirmed several shots were fired near 139 South Main Street and the investigation is ongoing.
The shooting occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
A bullet hole could be seen at the Law Office of Frank D. Camera at 70 South Main Street.
The area was blocked off while police investigated.
According to a witness that spoke with Fall River Reporter, approximately 7 shots were heard. A co-worker saw a man running on South Main Street towards North Frontage Street after the shooting took place.
