Fall River Police investigating convenience store armed robbery
The Fall River Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday.
According to Detective John Robinson, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Officer Paul Furtado of the Fall River Police Department’s Uniform Division responded to Season’s Corner Market, located at 130 William S. Canning Boulevard, in response to a panic alarm from the business.
Officer Matthew Rezendes and Street Supervisor Sgt. William Martel responded to assist Furtado.
When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that Season’s had been robbed. Robinson stated that the suspect walked into the business, brandished a knife, and requested money.
The suspect was described as a 5’10” white male who fled east on Lawton Street.
