Fall River Police investigating afternoon shooting after several shots fired at housing complex, at least second shooting report in a week
Fall River Police are investigating an afternoon shooting at a city housing complex.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, police responded to the area of Miller Street and Whitman Street after receiving multiple reports of shots fired.
Scanner transmissions revealed that the reports came in at approximately 2:30 p.m. for a shooting in the area of Maple Gardens.
Witnesses stated hearing about 8 shots. Evidence markers on scene showed up to 12 casings.
Crime Scene Unit is on scene assisting in the investigation.
No injuries have been reported at this time, according to Pereira.
This is at least the second reported shooting at Maple Gardens in a week as there was a report of a shooting there last weekend.

Not sure how this could happen with the all the ‘common-sense’ gun laws that Massachusetts has put into place.
Must need more common-sense gun laws and then this would stop happening.

My guess is the shooter is a white man who is gainfully employed and supports his wife and children.

They city is getting g worse and worse and unfortunately they arr so worried about revenue and “making it look like a good place to be since the train is coming but rents are outrageous,houses not up to par not enough jobs and nothing so these kids aren’t bored wanting to be in the street life.
