Fall River Police investigating after vehicle and home struck by gunfire
The Fall River Police Department responded to a shooting on Sunday evening.
According to Lieutenant Matthew Mendes, at approximately 8:15 p.m., officers from the Patrol Bureau responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Detroit Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered eight shell casings on the ground. A vehicle had been struck by gunfire, and multiple bullets penetrated a nearby home.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
The investigation is still active at this time.
