Fall River Police investigating after teen reportedly robbed at knifepoint
Police are investigating in Fall River after a teen was reported to be robbed at knifepoint yesterday.
According to Captain Barden Castro, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Uniform Division Officer Chelsea Campellone responded to a Pleasant Street residence to investigate a report of an armed robbery.
A 16-year-old male reported that he walked to a local convenience store to purchase perishables, upon leaving the store he was confronted by a male with a knife who demanded money. The victim reported that he did not have any money on him and the suspect ended up following the victim home and ultimately made off with an amount of money from the victim.
A woman stating that she was the mother of the boy took to social media.
“To the criminal who held a knife to my 16-year-old son’s neck to get money while he was on his way to a 3 minute away corner store to get milk for mom at approximately 9pm. I will stop at nothing to make sure you are found and identified. I have Surveillance everywhere. You put a knife to my son’s neck and when he had no money on him, you held a knife to his back and followed him home to get you his money he worked for. You bum. You prayed on a kid. I got your description. I will stop at nothing to find you. White male, age 19 to 24, long goatee beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Police have been called. I had about 6 cop cars here. We are pulling footage. I hope 50 bucks was worth it. I will find you if they don’t.”
She stated that the incident happened near the corner of Eastern Avenue and Pleasant Street.
Fall River Police release images of suspect believed to be involved in armed robbery
Castro stated that police continue to investigate the incident with Officer Campellone following up on investigative leads today.

God bless you mom,i hope someone comes forward ,i would prefer beat the crap out this robber if it was my kid. My mothers house was just broken into and they pushed my mom,my sister to the floor to ransack her house, these people are bums,Karma will get them I feel sorry for your son as a mom im sure its messing you up,dont worry this low life bum will get caught or at the very least his day is coming and i hope its 100 times worst then just $50 Maybe he wont live long or overdose like he deserves, God bless you mom and your son sorry you had to go thru this fall River is full of druggies and bums ,especially the ones on the avenue claiming there homeless veteran, I curse them every day i drive by them ,im a veteran and im not homeless so why use that exuse ? From what i hear these people make $100-$200 a day i couldn’t find a job that pays that well,i hope someone comes forward and you catch thhis bum chances are very good with social media God Bless You
