Fall River Police investigating after suspect in evening robbery of fast-food restaurant flees

Fall River Police are investigating the weekend robbery of a fast-food restaurant.

At just after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, a call came into dispatch for an armed robbery at 499 Globe Street, a Subway Restaurant.

According to scanner transmissions, the suspect handed an employee a note and fled with cash from the register.

The suspect reportedly fled on foot traveling westbound on Globe Street.
