Fall River Police are investigating a shooting after damage was found to property.

According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, on Saturday, Officers responded to an address on the 1400 block of South Main St regarding gunshot holes to the building.

Officers met with the property owner who pointed out 2 holes in the outside wall and 1 in the window of the next-door neighboring business which is part of the same building. A search of that business was conducted, and a projectile was found inside.

The Crime Scene Unit responded to collect the projectile and document the scene.

The investigation is being conducted by the Major Crimes Division.
