Fall River Police investigating after multiple shots fired leads to injuries

A Friday night shooting in Fall River has resulted in injuries.
According to police, at approximately 9:45 p.m. units from the Patrol Bureau, the Major Crimes Division (MCD), and the Community Action and Suppression Team (CAST) responded to a report of a shooting in the 200 block of Orange Street.
Upon arrival, officers located one victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder. The victim was transported to a local hospital, and is currently in stable condition.
Investigators recovered a firearm, a magazine, and multiple shell casings at the scene. Detectives are currently collecting evidence and statements, and the investigation will continue throughout the night.
This remains and active investigation, but police say it is believed to be an isolated incident.
