Fall River Police investigating after multiple gunshots hit home
Fall River Police are investigating a shots fired incident in the city Tuesday.
According to Lieutenant Jay Huard, at approximately 8:12 p.m., officers responded to 134 McCloskey Street in regard to gunshots being heard in the area.
According to scanner transmissions, an officer reportedly heard 7 gunshots, up to 6 of which hit a home.
Huard stated that when officers were checking the area, multiple shell casings were found and a nearby residence was struck with several rounds.
Fall River major crimes detectives are investigating.
There are no reported injuries at this time, according to Huard.
