Fall River Police investigating after man reportedly robbed at knifepoint by three masked men
Police in Fall River are investigating after an armed robbery that took place on Wednesday.
According to Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Officer Nicholas Mello responded to Phillips Street for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, he spoke with the 20-year-old male victim who reported he had been robbed by three masked men, one of which was armed with a knife. The victim explained that he had been outside with a friend when the men emerged from the woods and approached them. Upon approach, a knife was displayed, and a demand was made for his personal items.
The victim fled on foot, however, the assailants pursued him. He would ultimately comply with their requests and provided them with the personal items in his possession.
The victim did not report any injuries.
