Fall River Police investigating after discovering evening stabbing victim

Details are scarce concerning a reported stabbing victim in Fall River.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came in just before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday for a stabbing victim at a Fall River hospital. Hospital staff did not know at the time where the stabbing took place.

Acting Chief JT Hoar stated that the incident took place at the intersection of Haffards and County Streets with no connection to Latinos Cafe.

Major Crimes Division is investigating.
