Fall River Police investigating after city business broken into, robbed
Fall River Police are investigating after a city business was broken into and robbed Saturday morning.
According to Lt. Gregory Wiley, FRPD Officer’s responded to T & J Gas at 402 Brightman Street at approximately 1:20 a.m. for an alarm activation due to a glass break.
Upon Arrival, officers on scene discovered one of the front windows shattered and located loose change and receipts in the area of the broken window.
The property owner arrived on scene a short time later and the officers learned that the cash register which contained approximately $75 was missing from the business.
The cash register was later located a short distance away from the business.
Crime Scene Detectives were summoned to scene to process the area for evidence.
Willey stated that there are no suspects at this time.
