Fall River Police investigating after armed robberies at 2 convenience stores
Fall River Police are investigating after armed robberies occurred at two convenience stores on Thursday night.
A call came into dispatch at approximately 6:45 p.m. for an armed robbery at Z & Sons Convenience Store at 1552 South Main Street.
Captain Jay Huard, in addition to confirming the South Main Street robbery, also confirmed there was another armed robbery at Azores Convenience Store on 837 Bay Street.
Huard stated that both store owners reported that two men, each brandishing a firearm, entered their stores and demanded money.
It is currently unclear if both robberies are related.
The investigations are ongoing.

“Two Men” could you be more specific regarding these ‘gentlemen’? It is in the police report. Race, Age, height, Weight… regional language accent, identifying marks or characteristics.
Possibly, the citizens of Fall River could be on the look-out or even know who they are.
