Fall River Police investigating after 24-year-old man injured in evening stabbing
Fall River Police are investigating after a stabbing that took place on Wednesday evening.
According to Lieutenant Antonio Elumba, Fall River Police responded to St. Anne’s Hospital regarding a patient with an injury consistent with a stab wound.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 24-year-old man, who reportedly sustaining a lower leg injury subsequent to a confrontation.
Elumba stated that the facts and circumstances of the incident have yet to be 100% confirmed.
The matter remains under investigation by Uniform Division personnel. Detective Adam Talbot of the Major Crimes Division has also been assigned the case for follow-up.
