Fall River Police, Fire, EMS, respond to report of a male suffering from multiple stab wounds

Fall River Police, Fire, and EMS responded to a reported stabbing on Friday evening.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., a call came into dispatch on the 2700 block of North Main Street from a relative of a man who stabbed himself reportedly in the chest and abdomen.

According to witnesses, a male and female could be seen with what appeared to be blood on them.

Fall River Reporter contacted FRPD to confirm it was indeed a stabbing that took place and was self-inflicted, and we have not heard back.

The male was transported to a local hospital where his condition is unknown.
