Fall River Police Department welcomes 9 new officers; here are their names
The Fall River Police Department are welcoming their 9 newest officers.
Officers Avantay Pereira, Evan Sousa, Robson Pires, Justin Aguiar, Brandyn Silva, Zachary Strong, David Claudio, Charles Griswold, and Darian Rogers graduated the 74th Recruit Officer Class in Plymouth on July 7, 2023.
On Monday July 10, 2023, they were greeted by Mayor Paul Coogan, who welcomed them to the ranks. These officers will now undergo in-house training followed by a 12-week Field Training Program.
Officers Silva and Pereira join their fathers, Sergeant Derrick Silva and Sergeant Moses Pereira and Officer Strong joins his uncle, Sergeant Keith Strong as members of our department.
