Fall River Police Department responds to scene after afternoon shots fired incident

The Fall River Police Department responded to a shots fired incident on Monday afternoon.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came in just after 5:00 p.m. in the 100 block of Sunset Hill for a shot fired with the suspect leaving the scene.

Minutes later, officers confirmed that evidence was located that one shot was fired.

Transmissions did not reveal any injuries.

No word on if the suspect has been apprehended or what led to the shooting.
