Fall River Police Department responds to possible shots fired incident

Fall River Police are investigating a possible shots-fired incident that occurred Thursday night.

According to scanner transmissions, a call came into dispatch just after 10:00 p.m. reporting six shots fired in the 100 block of Hope Street. A Massachusetts State Trooper who lives in the area also confirmed hearing the shots.

It is still unclear whether officers found any evidence that a shooting actually took place.
