A Fall River school is in a shelter-in-place as of late Tuesday morning.

According to Sergeant Ross Aubin, FRPD received a report of a male on Amity Street who may be in possession of a firearm. As a precautionary measure, Henry Lord has been placed in a shelter-in-place status, which restricts entry into the building.

Law enforcement is actively searching the area for the individual in question.

Aubin stated that at this time, there is no direct threat to safety within the school.

Currently, there are no further updates available.
