Fall River Police Department issues update on condition of 3-year-old who fell from 3rd floor

A young child is lucky to be alive after a harrowing fall on Wednesday.

A call came into dispatch just after 5:00 p.m. for a 3-year-old crying and bleeding from the head at 439 Vale Street after falling from the third floor.

According to Active Chief JT Hoar, the child is stable and miraculously only sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation.
