Fall River Police Department investigating Sunday stabbing of New Bedford man
Fall River Police are investigating a Sunday morning stabbing.
According to Detective John Robinson, at approximately 4:40 a.m., a 32-year-old New Bedford man walked into St. Anne’s Hospital for treatment of a 3 1/2-inch laceration consistent with a stab wound to his outside left forearm. When questioned about what happened and where it happened, the male replied: “I don’t talk to cops”.
The male victim was transferred to Rhode Island Hospital for further treatment due to possible muscle/nerve damage.
Robinson stated that at this time, it appears the victim knew his assailant(s) and this is not a random attack.
