Fall River Police Department investigating late night reports of shots fired

The Fall River Police Department is investigating a possible shooting on Tuesday night.

According to scanner transmissions, multiple calls came in just after 10:00 p.m. hearing what they believed were shots fired on King Philip Street in the area of Tripp and Kilburn.

That area of King Philip was shut down by police while they investigated.

No word on if any shell casings were located or if any suspects have been apprehended.
