Fall River Police Department investigating armed robbery at city convenience store
Fall River Police are investigation an armed robbery at a local convenience story early this morning.
According to Detective Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 1:22 a.m. this morning, officers responded to Seasons Corner Market at 130 William S. Canning in response to a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that a white male, approximately 35-years-old, approached the counter, brandished a knife and requested cigarettes and money. The man fled the store on foot, after receiving these items.
Pereira stated that the investigation is ongoing.
