Fall River Police Department investigating 3rd car fire in 2 days
Fall River Police are investigating several car fires that have taken place in the city.
According to Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira, at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Friday, Units responded to the 300 block of Tower Street after a report that two vehicles were on fire.
A Hyundai Elantra and a Volkswagen Jetta sustained heavy fire damage. The Fall River Fire Department extinguished the blaze, and the fire remains under investigation.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, police and fire responded to the area of Aetna and Wayne Streets for a car fire. Witnesses stated they saw a male near the vehicle wearing a thick hoodie.
