Fall River Police Department, community partners, holding new Easter Egg Hunt, giveaway

A new community holiday event is coming to Fall River in just a few days.

Chief Kelly Furtado, the Fall River Police Department and the Massachusetts Coalition of Police are holding an Easter Egg Hunt.

The hunt will take place at Britland Park on Saturday, April 19th for ages 10 and under.

The festivities will begin with a sensory friendly hour from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. with all families welcome from 10:00 a.m. to noon.

There will also be 200 easter baskets that were filled Saturday by Christopher’s, FRPD, Espirito Santo futsal teams and other community members.

The event is also sponsored by Gnome Surf and Walmart.
