Fall River Police conducting third active shooting investigation in 10 hours
Fall River Police are continuing to investigate after three shootings in a 10-hour span on Saturday.
Police found shell casings for the second time at the 200 block of Locust Street after shots were fired just after 9:00 p.m.
In this incident, it appears nobody was injured in the gunfire.
Police are searching for a suspect.
This shooting comes on the heels of a fatal shooting in the same area early this afternoon.
Just before 9:30 p.m., a call came in for multiple shots fired in the area of the apartment complex at 57 Bates Street.
Det. Sergeant Moses Pereira stated that there is currently an active shooting investigation in that area.
As of this writing, there appeared to be no injuries from the Bates Street incident.
