Fall River Police capture Fall River/Taunton man on top ten list wanted on array of charges
Fall River Police have captured another wanted man.
According to Detective John Robinson, on Friday, April 24, while patrolling the area of Durfee and Walnut Streets, Uniform Division Officers Brandon Wixon and Shane Galus observed Omid Kevin White, who had recently been placed on the department’s ten most wanted list, walking on Durfee Street with his girlfriend. Both Officers were familiar with White and his girlfriend from past interactions.
FRPD Officers approached and detained White and verified his identity with the aid of photos.
Despite his denial and use of several different names, Officers Wixon and Galus took him into custody without incident.
Omid Kevin White, with both Fall River and Taunton addresses, was taken into custody on warrants charging him with Furnishing False ID, Carry Firearm Without a License, Possession of Ammunition W/O FID, Stalking, Assault & Battery Dangerous Weapon, Unarmed Robbery, Firearms Violation with 3 Prior Violent Crimes, Breaking & Entering in the Daytime for a Felony, No Inspection Sticker, Operating Motor Vehicle License Suspended Subsequent Offense, and MV Operator Refused to Identify Self.
