Fall River Police ask volunteers to refrain from searching for missing boater
The Fall River Police Department, Fall River Fire Department, Fall River Emergency Management, Environmental Police, State Police, the U.S. Coast Guard and other agencies are actively searching the waters to locate Marc Hanoud.
According to police, anyone wishing to volunteer is asked to refrain from doing so. Your actions are hampering the efforts of the agencies searching. Police ask volunteers to remain out of the waters in the area until further notice.
The Coast Guard had reported that they had suspended the search unless new information had come forward.
