Fall River Police arrest two from “Top Ten Most Wanted”

On January 16th at approximately 3:00 p.m., Officer Eric Copsetta of the Fall River Police Departments Special Operations Division (SOD) received a tip that a wanted fugitive from the FRPD ‘Top Ten Most Wanted’ (Jeffrey Louis, 36) could be found in a house on Lindsey Street. Armed with this information, Officer Copsetta along with officers Matthew Mendes, Richard Saraiva, Rory McCoomb, Frank Andrade, Zachary Dupere, and Trooper Barry Shea of the Massachusetts State Police VFAS unit responded to the Lindsey Street apartment.

With the building surrounded, entry was gained by knocking on the door. A female answered. Upon being informed of the purpose of their presence, the female pointed out the middle bedroom and allowed Officers Copsetta, Saraiva, and Mendes in. The middle bedroom was entered and Jeffrey Louis was located in bed sleeping. Located in the room with Jeffrey Louis were 36 grams of Fentanyl, 16 Suboxone pills, 8 blue glassine baggies of Heroin, 1 knotted baggie of heroin (over .5 grams in all), 25 Clonazepam pills, 6 Xanax pills, 25 Quetiapine pills, 8 Alprazolam pills and numerous other pills including Clonidine, Oxcarbazepine, Promethazine, Sublingual, and Diazepam.

Jeffrey Louis was taken into custody without incident.

On January 18th at approximately 7:00 a.m. Special Operations Division Officers Richard Saraiva, John Ruggiero, and Sergeant Daniel Ahaesy responded to a 3rd floor South Street apartment where they located Thomas John Grinvalski Jr.,40, who is also on the FRPD ‘Top Ten Most Wanted’ list. Thomas John Grinvalski Jr. was taken into custody without incident.

Jeffrey Louis was wanted on charges of: Firearm, Carry without License, Firearm, Deface Serial No., Possess to Distribute Class A, Class B Class C Drugs

Grinvalski was wanted on charges of: Sex Offender, Fail to Register A&B on a Police Officer
