Fall River Police arrest three on drug distribution charges

According to FRPD, Fall River Police Department Vice and Intelligence Unit made three arrests on drug charges this past week.

On Thursday, May 17th, Fall River Police Department Vice and Intelligence detectives executed a search warrant at 143 Lawrence Street. Detective Joshua Robillard was the lead detective.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives secured the occupant and subsequently located 69 doses of heroin from under his mattress as well as a ledger and $373.00 in cash.

Nicholas Silva, 31, with a last known address of 143 Lawrence Street, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession to Distribute a Class A Drug (Heroin).

On May 15th, Vice and Intelligence detectives executed a search warrant at 2 Thomas Street. Detective Athanasios Parousis was the lead detective.

During the execution of the search warrant, detectives secured the occupant and subsequently located 2 baggies of heroin (approximately 2 grams), 1-30 mg Oxycodone pill, 4 Suboxone strips, and $469.00 in cash.

Patrell Daniell Curry, 32, with a last known address of 2 Thomas Street, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession to Distribute a Class A Drug (Heroin) and Possession of a Class B drug (2 counts – Suboxone and Oxycodone).

On May 14th, Vice and Intelligence detectives Joshua Robillard and Nicholas Magan were in the parking lot of North Main Plaza at 870 North Main Street when they observed a white Toyota convertible, operated by a lone male, enter the parking lot. When the vehicle came to a stop, detectives observed another male approach and enter the front passenger seat. Detectives observed a hand to hand exchange between the two males before the passenger exited the vehicle.

Detectives approached as the vehicle pulled away. They detained the passenger and explained that what they observed looked like an illegal drug transaction. Detective Robillard asked the male if he had any illegal drugs on him. The male said he had a ‘few bundles’ on him (Bundle is a street term used to describe ten bags of Heroin packaged together). Detectives recovered 50 bags of Heroin and $821.00 in cash from the male.

Benjamin J. Andrade, 42, with a last known address of 143 Baker Street, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession to Distribute a Class A Drug (Heroin).
