Fall River Police arrest nine in John sting Friday

Fall River Police arrested nine in a recent sting.

According to Detective John Robinson, on Friday July 27th between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., members of the Fall River Police Department’s Vice & Intelligence Unit, with assistance from the Major Crimes and Special Operations Divisions, responded to citizen and business complaints of prostitution activity in the area of North Main at Pine Street and South Main at Park Street by conducting an undercover operation in an ongoing effort to address this issue.

During the operation, nine males were arrested after soliciting a female undercover police officer for Sexual Conduct for Pay.

Robert Manchester Jr., age 34 last listed address 151 Whipple Street, Fall River

Carlos Manuel Teixeira-Andrade, age 24 last listed address 293 Tremont Street, Fall River

All nine are charged with Pay For Sexual Conduct.
