Fall River police arrest man on drug dealing charges Friday
Fall River Police arrested a man Friday morning on drug trafficking charges.
On Friday June 1 at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Fall River Police Vice and Intelligence Unit accompanied also by Detectives from the Newport, RI Police Department executed a search warrant at 10 Hall Street, Apt 3, Fall River, MA.
During the surveillance of the property prior to executing the search warrant, the target identified as Adam Silvia, 40, was observed leaving the residence and driving away in a vehicle. Detectives issued a motor vehicle stop and investigated further. The operator was identified as Silvia and a search of the vehicle was conducted. Detectives located 4 ounces of Marijuana, 50 Pills of Oxycodone (30mg) and 28.3 grams of Cocaine. Silvia was also found in possession of $928.00 in suspected drug sale profits.
Detectives also searched the residence and located 180 pills of Oxycodone (30mg), 32.5 grams of Cocaine, 2.7 ounces of Marijuana, drug packaging paraphernalia, a digital scale and $1800.00 in US Currency.
The final total of all drugs seized during this operation was:
• 60.8 grams of Cocaine
• 6.7 ounces of Marijuana
• 230 Oxycodone (30mg pills/26.5 grams)
• $2128.00 in suspected drug sale profits
Silvia was transported to the Fall River Police Department and booked for the following crimes:
• Trafficking over 36 grams of Cocaine
• Trafficking over 18 grams of Heroin/Opiates/Morphine
