Fall River Police arrest city teen on gun and ammunition charges; held on bail after pleading not guilty
The Fall River Police Department recently made an arrest on gun and ammo charges.
According to police, on Tuesday, with the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit, C.A.S.T. Detectives executed a search warrant at the 400 block Warren Street in Fall River. The target of the warrant was Aaron Pavao, 18 years old.
During the search, investigators recovered a Walther PPKS firearm loaded with five rounds of .380 caliber ammunition. Additional rounds of .22 caliber and 9mm ammunition were also discovered within the residence.
As a result, Aaron Pavao was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of a Firearm without an LTC/FID and Possession of Ammunition without an LTC/FID (two counts).
At Wednesday’s arraignment, Pavao pled not guilty and was being held on $1,000 bail.
His next court appearance is scheduled for late next month.
