Fall River Police arrest 34-year-old Springfield man after 3 loaded guns seized at housing development
A Massachusetts man was arrested in Fall River on several charges after an incident.
According to Deputy Chief Barden Castro, on Wednesday, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Fall River Police Officers responded to the Maple Gardens Housing Development for a disturbance which was taking place inside of an apartment at that location.
In the home officers spoke with Kyron Simmons a 34-year-old man who resides in Springfield, Massachusetts. While interacting with Simmons, who was seated, a silver object was spotted
behind him which was believed to be a weapon. Acting quickly, an officer took hold of the item which turned out to be a loaded revolver.
Once that firearm was seized, officers could now see a bag behind Simmons which was also removed from his possession. Inside that bag, two loaded semi-automatic pistols were found.
Simmons, who is ineligible to possess a firearms license, was placed under arrest.
Further inspection determined that one of the firearms had a defaced serial number and contained a high-capacity magazine.
Simmons was charged with 3 counts of Carrying a Firearm without a License 3rd Offense, 3 counts of Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number, and Resisting Arrest.

Third f*cking offense. And that’s the problem in a nutshell. He has busted 3 previous times with carrying a gun illegally. They arrested him , processed him , jailed him , went to trial , pled out and a judge and D/A let this guy go with a slap on the wrist and low-and-behold same sh*t differnt day. The state allows this , they DO NOT care about keeping it’s citizens safe.

How come everything has to turn into a political discussion. This is the problem with the world now. No one takes accountability it is always this is because of Biden, Harris, Trump, etc. Also the laws have not been changed in so many years that most of them are obsolete.
