The Fall River Police Department has made an arrest after the reported seizure of a gun and a drug.
According to police, on Wednesday, members of the Patrol Bureau responded to the 300 block of Anthony Street for a report of a firearm having been located inside an apartment.
As a result, the Community Action & Suppression Team obtained a search warrant for the residence. During the search, investigators located and seized a loaded Lorcin L380 semi-automatic pistol with a defaced serial number and a bottle of Promethazine.
A sixteen-year-old juvenile was placed under arrest and charged with:
• Possession of a Firearm Without LTC/FID
• Possession of a Class B Drug
• Possession of a Firearm with a Defaced Serial Number
• Improper Storage of a Firearm
• Possession of Ammunition Without LTC/FID
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
