Fall River Police and Fire raise thousands for charity after facing off in hockey matchup
The Fall River Fire and Police Department Unions faced off once again for charity this weekend.
After recently going head-to-head in flag football and basketball where FD earned bragging rights, PD bounced back with a 6-5 win in hockey Saturday afternoon at Driscoll Skating Arena.
The event was organized by the unions on both sides and raised approximately $8,000 for the Fallen Officers Memorial Trust of the Fall River Police and a current FRFD L1314 member, Sean Kenyon, who is battling cancer.
Both unions are looking to continue competing against each other moving forward, especially with the great turnout.
