Fall River Police and Fall River Fire Departments to go head-to-head for charity, bragging rights
Let the smack talking begin!
The Fall River Police and Fall River Fire Departments have decided to go head-to-head for charity.
The two sides will square off in a basketball game to help raise money for the Veteran Association of Bristol County on Friday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. at Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.
The Fall River Firefighter Union pointed out that many members of the Police and Fire Departments are veterans.
“Collectively, we thought it would be best to help raise money for the Veteran Association of Bristol County through a basketball game hosted by Diman.”
Besides the real winner being the Veteran Association of Bristol County, both sides are looking for bragging rights.
You can purchase tickets in advance for $5 each at the Fall River Police Station, the Fall River Fire Headquarters, or the Veteran Association of Bristol County. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at the door.
