Fall River personnel respond to residence after young child falls out of window

Fall River crews responded Saturday to a home after a child fell from a window.

According to scanner transmissions, at just before 4:00 p.m., a call came in for a 5-year-old female that fell from a second story window from a residence on the 900 block of Bedford Street.

The child was brought up into the home before EMS arrived, and it was determined that the child had bruising on her thigh.

The girl was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
