Fall River crews responded to a Saturday evening crash that left one car on top of another.

According to scanner transmissions, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a call came into dispatch for a vehicle that had hit a parked car in the area of Brayton Avenue and Rodman.

A witness told Fall River Reporter that the vehicle that ran hit the back of the parked black car which caused it to go under the silver SUV.

“I witnessed the get-away car that caused the accident. I gave this report to the police. A shiny black newer model car backed away from the accident, sped down Brayton Ave. I followed from a few blocks back. Get-away car turned right on Stevens Street or Jefferson Street. I lost sight of it. Must have received much frontal damage. But no license plate or obvious pieces from the get-away car were visible.”
