Fall River personnel, Massachusetts State Police, respond to Charles Braga Bridge due to possible jumper, incident unfounded

Fall River crews and Massachusetts State Police responded Sunday to an incident that is believed to be unfounded.
A call came into dispatch from a suicide hotline at approximately 5:45 p.m. for a possible bridge jumper on the Charles Braga Bridge on I-195 West.
The female reportedly stated she was jumping off the bridge and had harmed herself.
Fall River Police and Massachusetts State Police did not locate any evidence of a jumper on both the Braga Bridge and Veterans Memorial Bridge. The Harbormaster found no evidence of a jumper in the water.
A similar call on Friday also resulted in no evidence of a jumper.
