Fall River organizations announce 2025 Veterans Day Parade, Recognition Ceremony

FALL RIVER, MA – The City of Fall River’s Office of Veterans Services and The Fall River War Veterans Council announce the annual Veteran’s Day celebration scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 11th.

The Parade Kick-off ceremony will take place at the War Veterans Monument in upper Kennedy Park at 12:30PM. The Veteran’s Day Parade will then step off at 1:00PM from Kennedy Park and proceed north on South Main Street to the Fall River Government Center.

Following the parade, Director of Veterans’ Services Talos Farris encourages everyone who can to attend, saying, “Please join us after the parade for our Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony in the City Hall Atrium.”

Shuttle vans will be used to take participants from the Third Street Parking Lot to Kennedy Park. Parade participants are asked to check in at the basketball courts on Broadway and Middle Street where they will be assigned to their divisions.
