Fall River Opioid Taskforce sends out overdose warning
Project Reconnect- Fall River’s Opioid Task Force is sending out a warning to residents about the amount of overdoses happening in the city.
The group has put out the following warning:
“Accidental opioid overdoses are happening at an alarming rate right now in Fall River. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. I cannot stress this enough. Over the last few weeks we have seen many lives lost. Our EMS & PD are working as hard as they can to get to these calls and administer life-saving Narcan, but you can pick up your own, free, Narcan at Seven Hills on S. Main St.”
“If you witness an OD, call 911 immediately, and administer Narcan. You can also give a sternum rub.
If you or someone you know is struggling w/ substance use disorder- please call us ASAP 508-269-3877.”
